Chapter
278 established a Board of Park Commissioners to consist of one resident
from each ward of the City. Such residents shall be appointed by the Mayor,
and must be confirmed and approved by Council. The board shall have the
entire management and control of all parks and parkways of the City.
The Board employs a full time Park Superintendent, seasonal park workers and during the summer will employ a pool management team and lifeguards to work the pools.
The Park System is funded by two levies and other income.

Seltzer Park is located east of Mansfield Avenue and south of Parkwood Drive. The Playscape and Pools are located in this park.
Playscape is located at the corner of Bradley Avenue and Woodland Drive in Seltzer Park.
Rabold Park is located at the end of North Long Street off of West Main.
Veterans Park is located on the west end of town on West Park Drive.
Skatepark is located at the south end of Veterans Park.
McBride Park is located on the north side of town off of Broadway.
Easterling Park is located off of South Street.
